Venice | Italy

Arguably the most romantic city in the world?

We stayed one night in the centre of Venice, post Covid it’s dramatically quiet and there was some brilliant deals to be had, if you can, I recommend staying at least one night in the centre as waking up amongst the canals is quite magical however if your itinery/budget does not allow a day trip is easy and also sufficient to see the sights from the neighbouring towns Mestre/Marghera

You can spend hours meandering in and out of the canals and getting lost in the beauty of Venice, don’t forget to stop for espresso & cannoli 😋

We finished our day of walking over 30,000 steps with Aperol Spritz by the water before dinner

We stumbled upon beautiful Ristorante Al Paradiso serving their own seafood specialities & the Gnocci 🤤 complimented with Venezian biscuits, I would definitely recommend this back street find 🍝

Have you been to Venice yet, would love to hear your experience, tips, local insights?
