There is a million and one things to do in London and a stop off at Camden Market is definitely a spot you should put on your agenda.
We took a 15 minute bus from Central London, using City Mapper, a free app that shows your quick and easy ways to get to your intended destination.
On arrival we wandered through the first part of the outdoor market with small tents selling handmade, homemade, original products. Inside we delved into the maze of vintage clothes, music records, old knock knacks , antiques and artists original prints.
Stopping off at the outdoor food market I opted for Middle Eastern Lamb filled pita with cabbage, tzatziki sauce and a side of paprika topped fries. YUM! There was a lot of options including, Indonesian curries, Columbian street food, English Fish & Chips and Jerk style chicken to name a few.
There a lots of benches so you can perch on a seat outside if it’s not too cold.
Inside there is a slightly newer section to the market with trendy Italian Spritz Bars and lots of different Asian Food stalls.
You can easily spend a whole afternoon here, eating, drinking, trawling the market stands and people watching. I highly recommend a visit next time you’re in London! For more information; https://www.camdenmarket.com
