No, I’m not joking!

We booked tickets very last minute after seeing it in the local Redcliffe and Bayside Courier Mail, advertised as โ€œThe Long Tableโ€ unlimited food, drinks and dancing for 4 hours for only $149 per person I thought was a steal.

Doors opened at 5pm and we were greeted with a glass of fizz and the most amazing antipasti tables; cured meats, nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, cheese; you name it! The Band in full swing and people meeting and greeting under the moonrise infront of the ocean.

Suddenly; the town crier announced that the pier was open and we took our seats: number 245 and 246 so somewhere relatively in the middle!  Four courses: 1. Fresh Prawns and smoked salmon, 2. Jamaican chicken, braised beef, roast potatoes and veggies, 3. Canoli and tiramasu, 4. Cheese board and Crackers PLUS a constant supply of beers and wine later we were best friends with our surrounding diners and ready to take the dance floor.

The remainder of the night was spent dancing under the stars with music playing into the night.

A Huge credit to the organisers Sandgate & Districts Chamber of Commerce for this one of a kind event  The Long Table 2017, I will definitely be booking again next year, suitable for any one over the age of 18, whether a group of friends or just a couple of you, you will definitely have fun and meet some truly like-minded people.
